PROJECT36: Five Brands, One Shared Language

Publié le 11 septembre 2026

Moroccan streetwear is becoming increasingly defined by independent voices, small communities and creatives who are building outside the traditional fashion system. PROJECT36 brings that energy together through a collaborative initiative led by Moroccan stylist, creative director and designer 36woz.

For its debut, PROJECT36 brought together five underground streetwear labels: @propertyofgara, @abyss.2277, @vsvguiri, @snikkerstudios and @stargaze.26. Coming from different creative circles, the brands were carefully selected by 36woz with the intention of connecting distinct regional perspectives and creating one unified showcase.

But PROJECT36 was never intended to be a conventional pop-up.

Rather than having each label present its own pieces separately, the five brands came together around a single design. The result was a strictly limited run of 100 T-shirts, created collectively and given away entirely for free.

That decision says a lot about what PROJECT36 is trying to represent. Instead of placing the focus solely on sales, the project puts collaboration and community at the centre. Five independent labels, each with their own identity, temporarily put those differences aside to create something that belonged to all of them.

It is also a reflection of 36woz's wider creative practice. Working across styling, creative direction and design, he has been interested in connecting underground street culture with a stronger visual and creative framework. PROJECT36 brings together influences from Morocco and wider international scenes while keeping the rawness that makes underground culture feel authentic in the first place.

The project is ultimately about more than one collaboration or one limited run. PROJECT36 is intended to become an annual cultural project, continuing to grow alongside Morocco's urban creative community and giving independent labels and young creatives a space to come together.

Its ambition is clear: to help push Moroccan streetwear towards a higher professional standard while making sure that growth does not come at the expense of its underground character.

There is something powerful about seeing independent brands choose collaboration over competition. PROJECT36 shows what can happen when different voices are given a reason to speak together.

Five labels. One shared design. 100 T-shirts.

And if PROJECT36 stays true to its vision, this first edition may only be the beginning of a much larger conversation around Moroccan streetwear, youth culture and the creative communities building their own future.
